The Soulful Steep: Pompano Beach’s Cozy Café & Healing Salt Cave Experience

The ultimate hippie place!! They got cozy vibes, amazing coffee and tea, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay all day and chill. I bought this BEAUTIFUL plant from this place. I love how they support and source everything from local artists, chefs and bakers. Definitely an experience everyone should try!! :)

The Soulful Steep is a gem of a place. As soon as you enter, the unique decor will catch your eye. The seating is comfortable for talking with friends or even working on your computer. The menu of delicious teas, other beverages and food is original and very tasty. While you’re there check out the free library, healing salt cave and list of community events. Even dogs are welcome. This will become one of your favorite spots!

The Soulful Steep is a hidden gem, I almost want to gate keep it and not share so I can have it to myself. From the minute we stepped in it felt special, there’s little to no places nearby with this amount of character, the energy, the art, the furniture it felt like I was stepping into a little fairy tale. Immediately greeted by Betsy, her energy was contagious, beautiful aura, taught us about the teas, the coffees, the local made baked cakes. The cakes!! The cookies, every single pastry on the counter looked incredible. So many beautiful things about this place from the environment to the service, was a beautiful experience. We were able to sit in a beautiful carriage set up in the store which was magical. The food was great, they offer everything from books to read, vinyls to play, everything seems to be focused on health, wellness, they even have a salt cave that you can schedule in advance. We felt the all the love it took to make this place special. One of a kind place , thank you so much for having us we will be coming back as much as we possibly can .

Thank you for creating such an accepting and thoughtful space! From the decor down to the ingredient conscious food, that place is perfect the salt room was like stepping into an alternate reality. I came out refreshed and filled with pure joy. There were even salt foot lamps to keep me warm, extending the spa treatment. What an inpressive cafe that also supports locals by displaying their art for sale and offering vendor items. It's not a modge podge of randome things, either. Going through the items for sale, it's obvious the vendors and owners work together to create a cohesive collection. Detail orientation, energetic consciousness, and community involvement are three solid ways to describe Soulful Steep. Please check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

10/03/2025 - Updated review: I had such a beautiful birthday with my hubby at a lovely café and bakery, The Soulful Steep. Their cake and coffee was perfect! Even more amazing, the Himalayan Salt Cave! I am a long time energy healer, and I have to report that after my experience in the Salt Cave, my vibration level was elevated. In addition, my energy chakras felt cleared and recalibrated after the 45 minute session. It was truly an experience. You must try this for yourself! Also, their tarot reader for the evening, Jessi, who is a very talented and empowering tarot reader. What a memorable evening! 03/02/2025 Review: Soulful Steep, the perfect vibe to celebrate life: anniversaries, date nights, and just unwind with a cup of tea or coffee. Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Soulful Steep, we definitely plan to visit again, such a lovely place, highly recommend!

We spent Halloween @ Soulful Steep with regulars and local patrons of this tea/bakery/boutique fever dream. We tried the cake flight and were not fans, it doesn't mean you won't be, just wasn't for us. A lot of gluten/sugar free and vegan options as well as regular options. A LOT of options. They are big on teas. A LOT OF TEAS. We were there for coffee and it didn't meet our standards for coffee. Having said that, we enjoyed our time. We felt like a local, we felt part of a community within a community. We had a reading with a tarot reader. Toured the salt cave room. Took part of the open mic night, pet many puppies and people watched. I give this place 4 stars as we came for coffee which weren't up to our standards but we stayed for an experience that delivered.

Such a hidden gem! South Florida doesn’t have very many mom and pop establishments or tea houses for that matter, so finding this treasure trove of yummy teas/ coffee and elixers, good local food, with stellar customer service, and all set in a quirky hippie chic environment feels magical. I checked it out on Saturday morning and came back with a friend for their open mic night the same day. I will 100% be back with more friends. Excited to try the salt cave and the other menu items. Plus, I got to meet one of the owners during my second visit, he was the sweetest! Protect and support this place at all costs!
